Anna Mae Antic, 93, of New Castle passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Glen Oaks Health Campus. She was born October 23, 1924 in New Castle, Indiana a daughter of the late George W. and Nellie (Williams) Campbell.
Anna was a member of First Baptist Church in New Castle and a former member of the Lewisville Order of the Eastern Star. An avid bowler in her younger days, she also enjoyed needlework, traveling, raising flowers and feeding the birds. Her CB handle in the 1970’s was “Orphan Annie”.
She is survived by a son, Keith (Karen) Antic of Olivehurst, California; grandson, Scott (Paula) Campbell of Wilkinson; two great grandchildren, Jordan and Adam Campbell; and numerous nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas P. Antic; son, Barry Campbell and siblings, Cleo McClain, Omer Campbell, Ronald Campbell and Mary Alice Franklin.
Services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 23, 2018 at First Baptist Church with Reverends Jerry Ingalls and Bob Van Cise officiating. Burial will follow in Sugar Grove Cemetery in New Castle. Visitation will be from 4- 7 p.m. Thursday, February 22 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle.
