Anna R. McGaha, 65, of New Castle, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital, Indianapolis, following an extended illness. She was born June 4, 1950 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Louie and Emma Jean (Lawson) Carroll.
Anna very much enjoyed being with her family. She loved her dog, Sandy, and also enjoyed vacationing. She worked at Harvest Super Market in New Castle for several years and attended Victory Full Gospel Church in New Castle.
She leaves to cherish her memory, three sons, Tony Thompson, Darrell (Tracey) Thompson, and Keith (Bridgett) Thompson, all of New Castle; a daughter, Michelle (Pat) Corn of New Castle; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; three sisters, Norma (Bart) Barricks, Connie (Danny) Gregory, and Joyce Carroll, all of New Castle; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Orthie Carroll, and three brothers, Larry, James, and Robert Carroll.
Services will be at 12:00 p.m. noon on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service with Pastor Paul Lawson officiating.
