Barbara Jane Huse

Barbara Jane Huse, 85, of New Castle passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Henry County Memorial Hospital. She was born July 20, 1930, in New Castle, Indiana the daughter of the late Merill and Lona Cronk.
She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family. Barbara was a long time member of North 14th Street Church of Christ.
Barbara is survived by her children, Cheri (Steve) Benson of New Castle and Mike Huse of New Castle; granddaughter, Baily (Damien) Gula, of Eau Claire, Wisconsin and a sister Doris Leffingwell of New Castle. Other survivors are a brother-in-law, Don Huse of Janesville, Wisconsin and sisters-in-law, Sharon Huse of Rockville, IN and Linda Guinn of New Castle; several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a long time, close family friend, Barbara Hamilton of New Castle.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Paul F. Huse; brother, Robert Cronk.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at South Mound Cemetery-West Lawn Addition with Dennis Kinser officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Any flowers, contributions or memorials are respectfully asked to be omitted.
