Carolyn S. Guhr

Carolyn S. Guhr, 69, of Vineland, New Jersey passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, March 26, 2015. She was born in Muncie, Indiana, to her late parents, Floyd Lawson and Reba Lawson-McKinney.
Carolyn graduated from Muncie Central High School Class of 1963. She worked as a realtor in New Castle, Indiana for many years before relocating to Vineland, NJ in 1989. Carolyn has owned and operated Gourlay's Beauty Salon and Tantastic Tanning Salon for the past 17 years. She was a member of the Buena Vista Country Club Women's Golf Association. She loved golfing, bowling, music, dancing, and gardening, but mostly loved spending time with her close friends and family, especially her grandchildren.
Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Tammy Champion and son in law, Marc of New Castle, IN,;her son, Todd Moore and daughter in law, Noelle of Millville, NJ as well as her five grandchildren, Quentin, Collin, Cameron, Mackenzie, Griffin, and grandchild to be. She is also survived by her brother, Dallas Lawson and sister in law, Kay of Maumee, OH as well as several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Jackie Kramer.
Her family would like to especially thank Carolyn's long time friend and caregiver, Nancy Mukai, for her loving care and support during this very difficult time.
Services will be at 11A.M. Wednesday April 1, 2015 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Marc Champion officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery West Lawn Addition. Friends may call from 6-8P.M. on Tuesday March 31 at the funeral home.
