Carolyn V. Warrick

Carolyn Vera Warrick, 80, of Brownsburg, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Avon Health Care. She was born September 19, 1936 in Shirley the daughter of Golay and Ruby (Hodson) Meek.

Carolyn was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to cook and try new recipes, sew, debate with people, and go camping and fishing. She enjoyed playing video games, watching TV and was very possessive of the remote. Carolyn loved her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great granddaughter. She also loved her dog, Tucker, and the many pets she and her husband had over the years.

She is survived by her children, Mike (Sharon) Warrick of Brownsburg, Denise (David) Barnes of Brownsburg, Anita (Rick) Gottman of Vandalia, IL; three grandchildren, Jessica, Josh, Jason; seven great grandchildren, Nick, Liam, Danielle, Tyler, Natalia, Blake and Brennan; great-great granddaughter, Braeylen; brothers, Gerald Meek of Brookville, OH, and Miles Meek of Knightstown; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest D. Warrick in 2012; a grandson, David Barnes in 2016; brothers, Myron Meek and Golay Meek, Jr.

Visitation will be from 11 AM-1 PM Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Services will be at 1:00 PM with Mike Gasper officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Henry County Humane Society, 11 Midway Drive, New Castle, IN 47362.
