Daisy Ellen Stevens

Daisy Ellen Stevens, 98, of Rushville and formerly of Spiceland passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Rush Memorial Hospital. She was born December 13, 1917 in Orange County, Indiana to the late Charles C. and Bessie (Goodpaster) Moffatt.

Daisy was a member of the Rushville Baptist Temple since 2002. She enjoyed gardening, singing and telling old stories.

She is survived by her sons, Bill (Virginia) Frazier of Leesburg, Florida, Charles Frazier of Indianapolis; grandchildren, William Michael Frazier, Kimberly Gray, Ronald Wayne Frazier, Kenneth Frazier, Keith Frazier, Yvonne Smith, Shannon Frazier, Matthew Frazier, Marcy Frazier Coppeck, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; siblings, Loretta Hall and Richard Moffatt of Marco, IN, and a special daughter in law and caregiver, Karen Frazier.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John N. Stevens; son, Larry Frazier; grandson, Scott Frazier; three brothers and six sisters.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Rushville Baptist Temple, 1335 N. Spencer St, Rushville, IN with Pastor Garry Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Friends are welcome to visit from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Friday, June 17 at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Rushville Baptist Temple. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle.
