David Gene Perry, 41, of New Castle passed away Monday, June 5, 2017 following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born September 20, 1975 in Salt Lake, Utah to Robert Perry of Sun Valley, Nevada and Annette (Sisam) Jensen of Salt Lake, Utah.
David was a jack of all trades. He was a very hard worker and had many skills. He was a family man and a very good husband and father. David was a graduate of Altaview High School in Salt Lake and enjoyed magic, Yu-Gi-Oh card games, video games, Pokemon and especially spending time with his kids. He was currently employed by Latham Pools and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Susan Perry of New Castle; three children, Devan, Jennifer, and Alexia Perry; maternal grandmother, Lellavee “Gigi” Sisam of Salt Lake, UT; brothers, Calvin and Jacob Perry both of Salt Lake, UT; and a sister, Joleen Staker of Salt Lake, UT.
He is preceded in death by step-father, Earl Steven Butterfield and daughter, Angel Perry.
The family would like to thank Kathy and April of Premier Hospice and Dr. Williamson and staff of Ball Cancer Center for the exceptional care David received.
Services will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Visitation will be 12 – 3 p.m. prior to the service.
