David Duane Tinch

David Duane Tinch, 59, of Anderson passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospital in Anderson. He was born May 5, 1955 in Muncie, Indiana a son of the late Hershel Tinch and Patricia Anne (Hale) Wagner.

David was a graduate of Muncie Central High School, and later worked as a custodian at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie and retired following 30 years of service. David loved NASCAR, stock car racing at Anderson Speedway and telling jokes. He was a devoted dad, husband, and grandpa.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Tinch of Anderson; a son, Daniel (Jennifer) Tinch of New Castle; grandchildren, Darla and Dylan Tinch of New Castle; and a brother, John Tinch.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Wanda Faye Tinch; daughter; Brenda Kay Tinch and three sisters, Cyndi Wagner, Donna Wagner and Monica.

Services will be 12:00 p.m. Monday, January 19, 2015 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Rev. Thomas Current officiating. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Gardens of Memory in Muncie. Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
