Debbie Huntsman, 63, of New Castle, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Ambassador Healthcare in Centerville. She was born June 25, 1953 in Fort Polk, Louisiana to the late Olney Dean and Helen (Walker) Neal.
Debbie was a 1971 graduate of Shenandoah High School. She retired from Best Lock in Indianapolis following 22 years of service and later worked at Occazio, where she loved caring for others. Debbie is a charter member of Grace Baptist Church. An accomplished signer, she mastered sign language and signed at her church. She collected Precious Moment’s figurines, loved taking pictures, telling stories, crafting and traveling. Debbie was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and friend, and was known to be very strong.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Larry Huntsman; two children, Joshua Huntsman and Andrew Huntsman of New Castle; siblings, Diane (Stan) White of New Castle, Gary (Barbara) Neal of Shirley, Denny (Deanna) Neal of New Castle, David (Paula) Neal of Middletown, Darryl (Tammy) Neal of Shirley, Robbie (Katrina) Neal of Indianapolis; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Huntsman; sister-in-law, Teresa (Kenny) Bolinger both of Clayton, NC; several nieces, nephews, and her dog, Peanut.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Donald Neal; two nephews, Darryl Neal and Zack LaGuire; and father in law, Lawrence Huntsman.
The Family would like to thank the staff at Ambassador Heath Care in Centerville for the wonderful care they showed to Debbie.
Services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Bob Schon officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memory Garden.
