Donald Ray (Gus) Grisham, 82 of Vandalia is now walking with his Heavenly Father. He went to see Him on Wednesday, January 14, 2015. He was born on July 30, 1932.
He started as a Fireman for the Butler Township Fire Department and retired as a Lieutenant from the Dayton Fire Department after 27 years of service. He was a veteran in the United States Navy and fought in the Korean War. He faithfully attended Christian Life Center.
Survivors include his wife: Jean (Thatcher) Grisham, whom he married on November 3, 1956; two sons: Rick (Cindy) Grisham, Brian Grisham and one daughter: Teresa (Gary) Bowyer; nine grandchildren: Chad (Jennifer) Grisham, Christina Grisham, Casey (Heather) Grisham, Taylor (Chris) Moehl, Joshua Grisham, Saxzonee Grisham, Jaime (Jeff) Neller, Shelly (T) Wilcox, Kimberly (Derek) Niehaus and eleven great-grandchildren: Callie and Coleman Grisham, Ella and Carter Moehl, Evanee Murray, Michael, TJ and Kyla Wilcox, Zoe, Abigail and Aaron Niehaus.
Friends may call from 9:30 am-11:00 am Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Christian Life Center in Dayton, OH. Services will follow at 11 am Saturday with Pastor Libby Martin officiating.
