Doris Ann Moss, 82, of Carthage, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2014 at IU Health University Hospital. She was born October 23, 1931 in New Castle the daugther of Harold and Margaret (Hosea) Moss.
A graduate of Howe High School in Indianapolis, Doris had resided in the Carthage area since 1982, living in Florida prior. She retired from Community Hospital in Indianapolis in 1989. She was previously worked for David B. Kenney, MD in Indianapolis. She loved animals especially her three dogs.
She is survived by several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A graveside service will be at 12:00 noon Monday, October 13, 2014 at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown with Kim Benson officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of donor’s choice.
