Earl I. Shaw Jr., 29, of Knightstown, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, December 18, 2014. He was born April 23, 1985 in Marysville, OH.
Earl was a 2003 graduate of Greenfield Central High School, and he received an Associate’s degree in 2005 from Ivy Tech. He was presently employed at NineStar Connect in Maxwell as a Network Operations Manager. An avid Ohio State Buckeye and Cincinnati Bengals fan, Earl also enjoyed coaching his children’s soccer, basketball, and baseball teams. He was a board member of the Greenfield Area Soccer Club.
He is survived by his wife, Megan (Helderbrand) Shaw of Knightstown; three children, Alexis, Chase, and Natalie Shaw, all at home; his parents, Earl and Mary Shaw of Knightstown; sisters, Rachel (Ed) Holsinger of Ohio, Kimberly (William) Webb of Knightstown, and Alaina (Adam) Jones of Georgia; brothers, Michael (Terri) Cline of Ohio, Tyler (Claudia) Shaw of Texas, Ryan Mount of Greenfield, Michael Mount of Indianapolis, and Corey Mount of Indianapolis; several nieces and nephews; one aunt and uncle. And also, his best friend, Ross (Kim) Ferson of Fortville.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lowell and Norma Shaw.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, Knightstown Chapel with Pastors Ryan McCarty and Don Raines officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2014 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Earl I.
