Elsie L. (Wisener) Kenworthy, 91, of Winchester passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Randolph Nursing Home. She was born July 15, 1925 in Richmond to the late Earl Sr. and Lettie (Fulton) Wisener.
Elsie was a longtime Randolph County resident. She worked as a hairdresser and at Randolph County Hospital. Before moving to Randolph Nursing Home, she was a longtime resident at Sunny Knoll Apartments in Winchester.
She is survived by her daughters, Anita (Barry) Stewart of Farmland, Jane (Randy) Simmons of Union City, Ohio; grandchildren, Tracy (Michael) Stark, Jaime (Chad) Rector, Julie (Tony) Parrott, Tamara Bales, Jason (Seka) Simmons; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Stark, Sydney, Taylor, Morgan and Jack Rector, Sela and Asa Simmons; brother in law, Albert Sterling; sister in law, Monisa Wisener; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Judy Bales; brothers, Paul (Marie), Albert (Helen), Clyde (Lucille), Earl Jr. (Iva Lou), Lee Wisener; sisters, Thelma (Carl) Petry, Mary (Rueben) Kreitzer, Ethel (Harry) Dill, Bonnie (Howard) Wolf and Betty Sterling.
The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Randolph Nursing Home for the excellent care she received while at their facility.
