Eva A. Johnson, 61, of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2014 at Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born February 7, 1953 in Wilmington, NC the daugther of Joseph R. and Jacqueline (DeMooy) Johnson.
She is survived by three children, Dora Ann Blaylock of Indianapolis, Keith Wayne Steele of Indianapolis, and Dale Lee Steele of Indianapolis; five grandchildren, Joseph, Cody, Pearl, Isaiah and Kylie; two great grandchildren, Doriane & Donald III; three sisters, Jacqueline J. Johnson of Indianapolis, Gloria Jean Lawson of Indianapolis, and Carol Marlene Secrest of Houston, TX; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, September 12, 2014 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Condolences and memories of Eva may be shared at www.hinsey-brown.com .
