James Neil Coffey, 84, of New Albany and formerly of Middletown passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Floyd Memorial Hospital. He was born March 12, 1930 in Burkesville, Kentucky to the late Ellis and Mae (Melton) Coffey.
James is survived by his wife, Mary V. Coffey; daughter, Lori (Phil) Hawk; son, Martin (Gayle) Coffey; sister, Irene (Jim) Blackmon; grandson, Daniel (Marcie) Hawk; and a great grandson, James W. Hawk.
In addition to his parents, He is preceded in death by his first wife, Katherine Franklin Coffey and a daughter, Teresa Coffey.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family, and burial will be at Saunders Cemetery near Daleville. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. You may express condolences or share a memory of James at www.hinsey-brown.com .
