Jimmie Carolyn Landon

Jimmie Carolyn Landon, 64, of New Lisbon went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Indiana University Hospital following a brief illness. She was born May 1, 1952 in Huntsville, Alabama to the late Willie and Betty Maples.

She enjoyed being with her family and especially her grandchildren. Jimmie also enjoyed reading and spending time in prayer. She attended Greensboro Church of the Nazarene and worked at Cinnamon and Spice Bakery in Centerville.

Survivors include her husband, David C. Landon of New Lisbon; children, David L. (Zaida) Landon of Edinburg, TX, Stephen (Marcia) Landon of New Lisbon, and Jami (Chuck) Veal of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Dylan, Gunner, Christian, and Kristafur; siblings, Wilma Meeks of New Hope, AL, Jerry Maples of Hartsell, AL and Shannon Kennedy of LA; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Reverend Gene Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Springersville Cemetery.
