Jonathan Robert Kent, 38, of Knightstown, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at his residence. He was born January 31, 1979 in Madison County, Indiana to Clifton Kent and Marcy Crider.
He was employed as a machine repairman working for Fedex and Keihen Corporation in Greenfield. Jonathan had been a volunteer fireman in Dubois, PA. He loved fishing, motorcycle riding, canoeing, cooking, golfing and disc golf.
Survivors include his daughters, Courtney and Ashley Kent of Knightstown; mother, Marcy (Chuck) Crider of Knightstown; fathers, Clifton (Jeanne) Kent of Beech Grove and Randy Brigman of Ingalls; brothers, Christopher and Matthew Kent, Josh and Joe Brigman; sister, Jessica Oakes; step siblings, Marti Baumgarter, Ali Butcher, Zach Goodman, and Yvette Cox; two grandmothers, Martha Mahaffey and Ann Brigman; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Per Jon’s wishes, a Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312. Arrangements are entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel.
