Judith "Judi" Hall

Judith A. “Judi” (Noble) Hall, 76, a resident of Springport passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Morrison Woods Health Campus in Muncie. She was born February 11, 1939 to the late George and Helen (Addison) Noble.

A graduate of Muncie Central High School, she retired from Dayton Walther Corp. in Muncie. Judi was a former member of the Moose Lodge in Muncie. An avid bowler, she enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her family. Judi had a great sense of humor and a contagious smile. She and her husband, G. Leon Hall, Jr., were married June 20, 1959.

Survivors include three daughters: Lin (Ted) Norris and Lori (Tom) Norris, both of Springport and Charlotte (Jody) Sloan of New Castle; grandchildren: Jon-Michael Norris (Jamie McCubbins) of New Castle, Amanda Norris of Rushville, Justin Norris (Rachel Hudson) and Jessica Sloan, both of New Castle; great-grandchildren: Taya and Sophia Norris, Wyatt, Brantley and Paisley Hudson, Zac Blevins, Macey and Alexis Christie; two sisters: Connie Swingley and Verna Sue (Larry) Terry, both of Yorktown; a brother: Jorge “J.R.” Noble of Greenwood; step-sisters: Debbie Keller and Cheryl Wright, both of Muncie; three sisters-in-law: Helen (Phil) Noble, formerly of Sulphur Springs, Sharon (Dan) Hite of Muncie and Diana (Jim) Burchfield of Martinsville; several nieces and nephews; special care givers: Betty Melton and Judy Carter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, G. Leon Hall, Jr. on August 13, 2013; her in-laws: Granville L. and Dorothy (Phillips) Hall, Sr.; step-mothers: Shirley Jean Noble and Rose Hall; granddaughter: Aubrey Leann Norris; brothers: Phil and Mike Noble; sister-in-law: Deanna Williams.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Pastors Marty Ballard and C.J. Buskirk will be officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Summit Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 23 at the funeral home.
