June Trent

June Trent, 86, of Knightstown, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017, at Henry Community Health Hospital. She was born January 4, 1931 in Salyersville, Kentucky to Burie and Louise (Bolen) Slusher.

She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and would do anything for them and always put her family first. June was a hard worker, she enjoyed the outside and working in the garden with her flowers. June was an avid fan of NASCAR and Tony Stewart. June was well loved at the hospital and nursing home.

Survivors include her children, Dan Patrick of Dunreith, Carolyn (Bill) Logan of Straughn, Ron Patrick of Knightstown and Linda (Kenny) York of New Castle; grandchildren, Byron (Kaycie) Patrick of Middletown, Brandy Patrick of Connersville, Bradley Patrick of Lebanon, TN, Tristica Logan of Minford, OH, David Logan of Straughn, Cassie Patrick of Greenfield, Brent (Abby) Patrick of Indianapolis, Kelli (Joe) Houchins of Knightstown, Ronnie (companion: Taylor Giddings ) Patrick of Knightstown, Jake York of New Castle, Lindsey York of New Castle, Amy York (companion: Rick Hunnicutt) of New Castle, Mike (Cheryl) York of New Castle, and Lee (Shelley) York of New Castle; eight great grandchildren; siblings, Leroy (Elsie) Slusher of Minford, OH, Froy (Irene) Slusher of Beaver, OH, Wanda (David) Barker of Minford, OH, and Donna Cantrell (companion: Roger Colvin) of Minford, OH; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Alline Combs, Charlie Slusher, Troy Slusher and Henry Slusher.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Pastor Randy Gross officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery.
