Laren Lance Landrum, age 44, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2015 in Tallahassee, Florida. He was born September 25, 1971, in Anderson, Indiana the son of Francoise Landrum and Larry Lee Landrum.
Laren graduated from Madison Heights High School in Anderson in 1990. He had his degree in Structural Engineering and extended his studies at St. Petersburg College in St. Petersburg, Florida. He was employed by J.S.K. engineering, in Anderson and Modernfold in New Castle before he moved to Tallahassee, Florida in 2004 where he was then employed by TLC Engineering in Orlando, Florida. He traveled to France and enjoyed the architecture of Europe and the food. He also enjoyed music, drawing and his life time friends from back in kindergarten. His best friends Dereek, Tom, A.J., Tony, Brad and Mark will miss him dearly. My dear son, God heard your prayer and there is no more suffering. You are in heaven by God’s side with all the perfect love that you had searched for, for so long.
Survivors include his mother, Francoise Landrum of Spiceland; stepmother, Flo Landrum; stepbrother, Tom; aunt, Tama McCamish; cousins, Trisha Tobias, Tyanne Tobias, Alan Wilson of Anaheim, CA; aunt, Maryse (Roland) Pianetti; uncle, Jean Prouteau and Jean Pierre (Denise) Prouteau; and grandmother, Celestine Prouteau of France, and many other cousins also from France.
Laren fought many storms and is in heaven with his father, Larry Lee Landrum; grandparents, Glen Landrum, Betty (Vern) Mizell; cousins, Bucky Wilson and Monte Wilson.
Services will be at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Reverend Steven Hamilton officiating. Burial will be in Grovelawn Cemetery in Pendleton.
