Larry R. Ebersole, 67, of Knightstown, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014 at his residence.
He was born July 15, 1946 in Indianapolis a son of Ira and Lillian (Tratner) Ebersole.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Viet Nam. He owned and operated All American Plumbing in Indianapolis for 50 years. Larry was an active member of the Knightstown American Legion. He was a great husband and father and was a very loving and giving person. He enjoyed debating and Pacer basketball.
He is survived by his wife: Deborah Tate-Ebersole; seven children: Lisa (KC) Schwarzkopf of Indianapolis, Brian (Tabitha) Ebersole of Indianapolis, Heather Burns of New Castle, Chris (Deanna) Ebersole of Indianapolis, Tatum (Ed) Deffinger of Knightstown, Kiersten (Daniel) Wallen of Indianapolis and Jordan Ebersole of Indianapolis; 14 grandchildren; brother: Gary (Trina) Ebersole of Knightstown; sister: Terry (Billy) Lucas of Indianapolis; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Jerry.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Wilkinson Church of Christ with Russ Lutes officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Knightstown American Legion.
