Laura Willis (Wells) Reed, 95, ended her journey through this life on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, surrounded by her loved ones at her home in Raysville. She was born on May 22, 1919 in Pulaski County, Kentucky, the daughter of Cyrus (Jimmy) Loveall and Sarah (Phelps) Loveall.

She had attended the “Truth Apostolic Church” of Billy Lambert, often filling the church with her children and grandchildren on special holidays.

Laura left many loved ones behind her: including children Connie (Charles) Tucker of Indianapolis, Dan (Jan) Wells of Knightstown, Becky Brodnan of Raysville, Jerry (Marlene) Wells of Knightstown, Dean Wells of Raysville, step-son Mike (Nancy) Reed of Plainfield; 20 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren, a special friend Darryl Arrowood of New Castle, and untold numbers of nieces and nephews and a lifetime of other friends.

In addition to her parents, those waiting on her in the next life include her children: Geneva, Dick, Jim, Nina and Candy; her sisters: Ollie Mae Thompson, Lois Jackson, Dorothy Snedigar and Gertie Trent; her brothers: James Loveall and Paul Loveall. She was also preceded in death by husbands: Clyde Wells and Raymond Reed.
