Lilly Frances Dane

Lilly Frances (Hollars) Dane, age 93, of New Castle went to be with the Lord June 18, 2016 at her residence. She was born November 11, 1922 in Monticello, Kentucky the daughter of the late R.Z. and Nova Etta (Crabtree) Hollars.

She was a member of Southside Church of the Nazarene, where she received the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012. A very active member of the church, she had served on the church board, finance committee, Sunday school board, sang in the choir and taught Sunday school and VBS.

Survivors include three children, Wanda (Ron) Richmond of Highland, IN, Bill (Pat) Dane of Kearney, MO and Gina (Jerry) Neal of Kearney, MO; grandchildren, Jeff Dane, Tina Porter, Todd (Lorie) Richmond, Quentin (Diana) Dane, Kristopher Dane, Kelly (Matt) Moran, Aaron (Lyndsie) Neal and Tayler Neal; great grandchildren, Brittney Limburg, Jaymen Porter, Christian Richmond, Jenna Richmond, D.J. Richmond, Dallas Law Dane, Magnolia Moran and Kynzlie Neal; brother, Ralph Hollars of Spiceland, IN; sister, Opal (Clay) Upchurch of New Castle; sisters-in-law, Elva Hollars and Sue Hollars, both of New Castle; brother-in-law, Ellis Watson of New Castle; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd C. Dane; two sons, George Dallas Dane and Ronnie Harold Dane; siblings, Odie (Gladys) Hollars, Walter Hollars, Irene (Otis) Sullivan, Susie Watson, Jack Hollars and Gladys Hollars.

Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at the Southside Church of the Nazarene with Pastors Michael Dees and Ron Richmond officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle.
