Linnie M. Beaty

Linnie M. Beaty of New Castle passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at The Waters of Muncie. She was born November 11, 1922 in Albany, Kentucky to the late Stokley L. and Effie Lee (Dalton) Beaty.
Linnie was a graduate of Byrdstown High School. She was employed at Komfy Togs (Huntington Industries) for twelve years and also the New Castle School Corp., where she retired in 1997 following 16 years of working in the cafeteria. Linnie was a member of New Castle Eastern Star for over 50 years and Grand Avenue Baptist Church.
She is survived by a brother, Guy Beaty of Tucson, AZ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Chester, Glen, Bryan, Paul and Kendrick Beaty.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. CDT on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Maupin Cemetery in Albany, Kentucky. You may express condolences or share a memory of Linnie at www.hinsey-brown.com .
