Lois Jean Jones

Lois Jean (Martin) Jones, age 78, of New Castle passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Glen Oaks Health Campus. She was born August 8, 1937 in New Castle, Indiana, a daughter of the late Garland and Mary (Hayes) Warren.

Lois was a member of the Cumberland City United Methodist Church in Alpha, Kentucky.

Lois was a stay at home loving wife, and mother of four children; Roland and Kim (Mathews) Martin of New Castle, Tonia and David Wills of New Castle, Billie Jo and Roger Johnson of McCordsville and Dale and Melinda (Whitaker) Martin of New Castle; eight grandchildren, Joey (Sabreana) Hughes, Kyle Martin, Jordan Wills, Jeremy Wills, Ryan (Krystal) Johnson, Derrick Johnson, Nicole Martin and Ashley Martin; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Tinch of Crossville, Tennessee and Sarah (Billy) Cooper of Richmond; several nieces and nephews; and three step sisters, Donna (Tim) Criswell of Seymour, Aloma (Bob) Chesher of New Castle, and Denise (Don) Skidmore of Clarksburg, West Virginia.

In addition to her parents Mary and Garland Warren she was preceded in death by her three husbands Bill Martin, Jerry Gadd and Arthur Max Jones; two grandsons; a brother-in-law, Cecil Tinch; and step mother, Maxine Warren.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with the Reverends Jim Nipp and Ted Burchett officiating.
