Mark A. Fort, 53, of Knightstown, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Hancock Regional Hospital. He was born November 21, 1963 in Greenfield, the son of Max Fort and Beverly (Anderson) Mounsey.
Mark attended Knightstown High School and graduated from Eastern Hancock High School in 1982. He was self employed in lawn care and was a lifelong cattle farmer. Mark was an avid golfer and loved watching his son’s sporting events.
He is survived by his son, Jack at home; mother, Beverly (Brooks) Mounsey of Bluffton; and father, Max Fort of Knightstown.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth “Liz” Fort; grandparents, Don and Thresa Fort.
Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Monday, February 20, 2017 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday. Burial will be in Glen Cove Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Hancock Regional Hospice, 801 N. State St. Greenfield, IN 46140.
