Marty Allen, 55, passed away peacefully, in his sleep, at his home July 31, 2017
Marty was a 1980 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

From childhood Marty dreamed of being a truck driver which he fulfilled for 30 years. Marty considered himself the world’s best backyard mechanic! His children thought of him as a Hero! They were his joy!

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 31 years, Genifer (Brown), his children, Justin Browning (wife Rachel), Amanda Allen (Brandon Salisbury), Kadi Allen (Jason Murphy), Nick Allen (Chelsea Claborn). He was Papaw to five grandchildren, Kingston and Hayden Browning, Gracie Shields, Riley Murphy and Maggie Allen, all of whom thought he knew everything! He also has two more grandchildren on the way!! Marty also has 4 “adopted” grandchildren, Becklin and Sullivan Salisbury, Eva Radford and Braxton Ford.

He is also survived by his parents, Wayman and Janice Allen, two sisters, Elana McCall (husband Bruce), Dana Kollmeyer (husband Kurt) and his brother Doug Allen (wife Kristy) who was his best friend. Mother and father in-law, Sonny and Jeannie Brown. Burt, Ward (partner Steve Gilbert) and Delta (wife Heather) Brown. Marty also had several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 3-8 pm at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Services will be Friday, August 4 at 1:30 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery, West Lawn Addition. The family request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Marty Allen Memorial Fund, c/o Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, 3406 S.
