Mary E. Miller, 95, of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation. She was born November 10, 1921 in Greenfield the daughter of Charles L. and Rose Ann (Michaels) Andis.
Mary had lived in the Carthage area from the age of 17. She had been employed at Original Tractor Cab in Arlington and retired from Indiana Knitwear in Greenfield in 1983. She had been a member of Fletcher United Methodist Church in Carthage. Mary especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by children, Gary (Carole) Miller of Greenfield, Carolyn “Sis” (Dick) Bonne of Greenfield, Dave Miller (Cathie Ream) of Carthage; grandchildren, John (Michelle) Miller, Melissa (Todd) Reynolds, Jama (Jim) Buttler, Dusty (Lena) Miller, Charmi (Marc) Bundy, Mike (Teresa) Bonne, David (Crystal) Bonne, Cindy (Eric) Lynch, and Jess Miller; 21 great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Miller; son, Joe Miller; an infant daughter, Mary Ann Miller; great granddaughter, Brooke Buttler; daughter-in-law, Verna Miller; four brothers, Wilbur, Earl, Ralph, and Jesse Andis; three sisters, Ada McCarter, Marie Katherman, and Bess Mertz.
Visitation will be from 2-5 PM Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. The funeral will be at 10:30 AM Monday at the funeral home with Reverends David Bonne and Todd Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
