Mary Justeen Smith

Mary Justeen Smith, age 86, of New Castle passed away on Friday, November 27, 2015 at the Waters of New Castle. She was born on December 12, 1928 the daughter of Theophilus and Artie (Owens) Lee.

Justeen worked at Perfect Circle in New Castle for 13 year and the Indiana Soldiers and Sailors Children’s Home for 15 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ on 200 North in New Castle.

Survivors include her husband J.D. Smith, whom she married in 1946; three children, Allan (Debbie) Smith of Middletown, Steve (Roxann) Smith of Knightstown and Angela (Richard) Baxley of Spiceland; six grandchildren, Brian (Rhonda) Smith, Mark (Jolee) Smith, Jennifer (Dan) Cupp, Jason (Valerie) Smith, Ashley Jordan and Ryan Thompson.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service with Phil Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown.
