Peggy Jean Cain

Peggy Jean Cain, age 74, of Knightstown passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Henry County Hospital. Peggy was born June 10, 1940 in Greenfield to the late Paul and Minnie (Anderson) Pryor. She married Ronald L. Cain on February 19, 1970 in Gatlinburg, TN.
Peggy loved her family and was a busy homemaker, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening and her flowers.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ronald Cain of Knightstown; sons, Brian Crossman, Jeff Crossman both of Greenfield, Leon (Tracy) Cain of Carthage; daughters, Shannon Jones, Davett (Jim) Rednour, Shelly (David) Griffiths all of Greenfield; sisters, Mary Jane Covey (Henry Shetrone), Betty (Jake) Andis of Greenfield; thirteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 26 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, Knightstown Chapel, 7355 SR 109, Knightstown. Burial will follow in Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
