Philip E. “Fil” Manifold, 62, of Mooreland passed away peacefully at his home Friday, December 29, 2017. He was born July 26, 1955 in New Castle to the late Ralph and Betty Jane (Small) Manifold.
He had been employed at the Rose Bowl in New Castle and was on the Pro Bowl circuit for a period of time. Fil had bowled in several leagues, and also loved to golf and was an artist, painting Christmas cards for over 20 years.
He is survived by one brother, Ed (Vickie) Manifold of Ford City, PA; two sisters, Maggie (Jerry) Ashby of Rushville and Kathy (Dave) Winnett of Cle Elum, WA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins including, Nickie (Marcus) Redick, Herb (Tashina) Manifold, Dave (Emily) Kissick, Joe (Jessica) Ashby and Mat Ashby.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Dorothy Manifold.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Zachary Korff officiating. Burial will follow in Mooreland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. prior to the service.
