Rebecca Jane “Susie” Parmley, 64, of Kennard, passed away Monday, April 20, 2015. She was born July 1, 1950 in New Castle, Indiana to the late Delbert and Leola (Logan) Conley.
Susie attended Wilkinson High School. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She loved roses and listening to her wind chimes. Susie also enjoyed dancing, all kinds of music, but especially Elvis Presley. She was a member of the Camaro Club and won many awards with her prized 1997 Camaro SS.
Survivors include two sons: Jason Lee (Christina Cooke) Parmley of Pendleton and Garvin Lee (Anna) Parmley of Seymour; grandchildren: Heather (Josh) Quillen, Josh (Rachael) Parmley, Austin Hamm, Samantha Parmley, Kayla Hollingsworth, Jaima Hollingsworth, Amber Slaven, Jordan Parmley, and Kayleigh Smith; four great grandchildren; siblings, Bonnie (Ronald) Gross, Delby (Karen) Conley, Barb (Wayne) Austin and Mary Lou Huckeby; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Parmley; siblings, Estes, Evelyn, Junior, Omer and Betty.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Bob Lines officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery-West Lawn Addition. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2014 at the funeral home.
