Richard Jason “Bobby” Whited, age 79, of New Castle went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at The Waters in New Castle. He was born April 22, 1936 in New Castle, to the late Jason and Anna (Deavers) Whited.
Bobby, a famous face in New Castle, worked washing windows in the downtown New Castle area and made sure the police and firemen were doing their jobs, often times riding the fire truck to the scene. He attended various Pentecostal Church’s over the years and was presently attending the Pilgrim Holiness Church in New Castle. Bobby had a good spirit and was a good worker.
Survivors include sisters, Clara Stoker of New Castle and Betty (Damon) Gibson of Indianapolis.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Whited; sisters, Charlotte Neal and Anna Mae Pierce.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 21, 2015 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Don Raines officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery.
