Richard Mark Allen Emmons

Richard “Bubby” Mark Allen Emmons, 27, born on June 8, 1987 in New Castle became one of God’s special Angels on December 3, 2014. He fought a courageous battle all of his life and touched every heart he came in contact with along his journey.

Richard graduated from New Castle Chrysler High School in 2008. He enjoyed being around family & friends, smiling, laughing and never knew a stranger. Being read to and listening to old rock and country music was a favorite past time.

Richard is survived by his mother, Peggy Prosser of New Castle; father, John Emmons, sister, Amelia (Robert) Brock; maternal grandmother, Barbara “Bobby” Carnes (partner Charles Severance); paternal grandmother, Mary Emmons; maternal great-grandmother, Lois “Annie” Carnes and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Lawrence “Kenny” Prosser; great grandfather, Carlile “Bud” Carnes; several aunts, uncles, cousins and great grandparents.

Services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Bill Palmer officiating. Friends may call from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
