Robert Keith Jenkins

Robert Keith Jenkins, 67, of New Castle, passed away Monday, February 20, 2017 at Henry Community Health. He was born October 15, 1949, in Henry County to the late Russell T. and Rachel (Strausser) Jenkins.

A loving husband, father, and grandfather, Robert was loved very much by his family. He worked for Economy Tile and Nelson Tree Trimming for over 13 years. He was devoted to his church, Trinity Full Gospel Tabernacle. He was a very hard working man who also loved fishing and boating.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Joyce (Dock) Jenkins of New Castle; children, Vanessa (Rodney) Cook of New Castle, and Defena Jenkins of New Castle; grandchildren, Joshua Martt of New Castle and Crystal (Kevin) Huffman of Straughn, Tiffany Douglas of New Castle, Darrell (Jozelle) Thompson II of New Castle, Deann Mills of New Castle; great grandchildren, Lethan, Lexi, Joslynn, Darrell III, Arianna, Darren, Adilynn, Izabella, Ryleigh, and Phoebe; siblings, Donald Jenkins of New Castle and Ilene Elliott of New Castle; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Phyllis Wright, Geraldine Conway, Bertha Rose, and Norman Alderson.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2017 at Trinity Full Gospel Tabernacle with Pastor Brian Hisle officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memory Gardens.
