Ronnie Jo Young

Ronnie Jo Young, age 46, of Middletown, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 12, 2014, due to an automobile accident in Muncie, Indiana. He was born October 4, 1967 in New Castle, Indiana to Ronnie L. and Sheila V. (Sexton) Young.

A 1986 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School, Ronnie was employed at Prairie Farms in Anderson for several years and for the past three years had been the warehouse manager of Pepsi in Muncie. He was affiliated with Open Arms Church in New Castle. An avid fisherman, Ronnie was a member of Bass Masters and was in the Handy Man Club.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer L. Young of Middletown; three daughters, Amanda Jo Young of New Castle, Brianna Hoskins of Plainfield and Macy Young Fleetwood of Brownstown; parents, Ronnie L. and Sheila Young of New Castle; a brother, Tony (Jodi) Young of New Castle; half-brother, Jeffrey Young of Greencastle; half sister, Angela Mayhugh of Anderson; a special niece and nephew, Keldyn Young and Dawsyn Young both of New Castle; uncle, Danny (Kay) Sexton of New Castle; cousin, Kristy (Mike) Gerth of New Castle; several other nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his, grandparents, Printes and Pauline Young and Gene and Dortha Sexton; aunt, Karon Stone


Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Open Arms Church in New Castle, with Pastors Paul and Rick Davis officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery-West Lawn Addition. Friends may call Friday, August 15, 2014 from 4-8 p.m. at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle.
