Wilford Ray Roseberry

July 11, 1941 — September 17, 2014

Wilford Ray Roseberry, 73, of Anderson passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Community Hospital in Anderson following a courageous battle with Alzheimers and Parkinsons. He was born July 11, 1941 in Soldier, KY a son of Wilford and Bessie (Masters) Roseberry.

Ray retired from Delco Remy in Anderson after 37 years of service. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and one time harvested a Boone & Crockett buck. Ray was a member of Faith Chapel Church in Knightstown and loved his family and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Peggy Roseberry of Anderson; children: Kelli Roseberry (companion: Elza Lamb, Jr.) of Alexandria, Michele (Jerry) Gaw of Noblesville, Wilford “Chip” Roseberry, Jr. of Knightstown; grandchildren, Braden Morphew (companion, Mary LeBlanc) of Plaquemine, LA, Zachary Morphew (companion, Angela Richardson) of Alexandria, Tyler (Samantha) Gaw of Indianapolis, Conner and Carson Gaw both of Noblesville; great grandchildren, Camden Alexander Morphew of GA and Aliyah Rose Morphew of Alexandria; sisters, Arbie Gearhart of Olive Hill, KY, Guin (Jimmy) Chapman of Knightstown, Nina Kay Murray of Hagerstown; sister-in-law, Carolyn Roseberry of Anderson; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lenora Hudson; a brother, Cleo Roseberry; great grandson, Braylon Cash Morphew.

Services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Pastors Randy Gross and Eric Boling officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:30 – 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
