Addam Copp, 38, of New Castle passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at his residence after a long and courageous battle from a tumor in his brain stem. He was born January 23, 1983 in New Castle, Indiana, a son of Tim Copp and Brenda (Walcott) Asberry,
Addam was a 2001 graduate of New Castle High School. He was a 16 years employee of Draper Shade Company and prior to that he worked at Main Street Book Store. He cherished the 11 years he had with his son, Evan and the 20 years with his wife Tara. He attended Memorial Baptist Church. Addam loved traveling with his family to Pikes Peak, car shows, working on cars and playing video games.
Survivors include his wife, Tara; son, Evan; mother, Brenda (Randy) Asberry; father, Tim (Marianna) Copp; sister, Angie Copp (Shawn Mullins); step brother, Collin (Kristen) Asberry; mother & father-in-law, Tom and Patty Hardymon; sister-in-law, Ashley Hardymon (John Deer); nephews, Connor & Cooper Asberry; aunt, Dianne (Jim) White; uncles, Ricky Benson, Jim (Kay) Walcott and Jerry Walcott; special cousins, Kimberly (Cullen) Bolinger, Charity White, Ryan (Katie) Walcott, Chris (Ashley) Walcott, Amber Walcott (Jessica), Courtney (Donald Brady) Johnson, Cassandra Walcott and Sandy (fiancé Marty Clift) Lewis; and many close friends.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Adam & Sophie Copp, Beverly Walcott, Hubert Walcott; step grandparents, Oren and Dora Asberry; aunt, Jeri Benson and an uncle, Jeff Walcott.
In keeping with Addam’s wishes there will be no services. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made for his son Evan's education, c/o Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service 3406 S. Memorial Dr. New Castle 47362.
