Aileen Lynn Pack

September 7, 1965 — July 17, 2021

Aileen Lynn Pack, 55, of Knightstown passed away following an extended illness on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Indiana University Hospital. She was born September 7, 1965 in Indianapolis and was a twin daughter of Larry Allen and Debra Lynn (Bowers) Chadwick.

Aileen grew up in Seymour, Indiana for a good portion of her childhood, around the age of 10, before moving to Indianapolis. She attended Emmerich Manual High School. During those years she met her husband, Richard Pack, through mutual friends. Allie became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1985, just months before her becoming a mother for the first time. Allie had two daughters, Sarah (Pack) Wood and Ashley (Pack) Turner.

Early on in Allie’s adult life she suffered with crippling rheumatoid arthritis. While she loved being a mother, she struggled to keep her own independence.

Allie enjoyed spending time with those she loved. She was always willing to lend a listening ear, even when her own life was unfairly limited. She usually could be found with a happy disposition.

She was creative and loved to laugh. Her laugh was one of a kind. She will be greatly missed by her family and her friends alike.

In addition to her parents, Aileen is survived by her husband, Richard “Rick” Pack; daughters, Sarah (James) Wood of Sparks, Nevada and Ashley (James) Turner of Knightstown; grandchildren, Jesse, Laurna, Jaysom, Jazper, Adalyne and Jacob Turner, Benjamin, Addison, Trevor and Natalie Wood; brother, Jefferey Chadwick; twin sister, Loreen Starkey; nieces, Madie Starkey, Sabrina Dove and Miranda Chadwick.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Vivian Bowers; an uncle, Jerry Bowers and an aunt, Ladonna Barnard.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 30, 2021 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3701 Roberta St, New Castle, IN 47362. Burial will follow at Batson Cemetery.
