Albert "Al" Leon Kinnaman

Albert “Al” Leon Kinnaman, 85, of Knightstown, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021 at his residence. He was born May 7, 1935 in Puxico, MO, son of Albert Gough and Bernice May (Brown) Kinnaman.

Al retired from Chrysler Corporation after 37 years of service as an electrician. He served in the Army National Guard from 1958-1966. He was Knightstown 2015 Citizen of the Year. Al was a member of the Knightstown United Methodist Church where he had served as treasurer. He was an avid Knightstown Panthers fan, enjoyed mowing his yard, fishing in Canada, helping others and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joyce Ann Kinnaman of Knightstown; children, Kevin (Dawn) Kinnaman of Knightstown; Gina Kinnaman of Chatsworth, California, Kyle Kinnaman of Knightstown and Amy (Scott) Blackwell of Greenwood; grandchildren, Colton Kinnaman, Jacob Zerkel, Kaleb Kinnaman, Kasen Kinnaman, Grayson Blackwell, Keeley Blackwell; Sisters, Betty Hill and Ruth Kinnaman Pilarski.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Russell Kinnaman.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Glen Cove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Red Bird Mission Camp, 70 Queensdale Center, Beverly, KY 40913 or at rbmission.org.
