Alicia L. Smith

October 14, 1942 - August 1, 2021

Alicia L. Smith, 78, of Knightstown, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Heritage House in New Castle. She was born October 14, 1942 in Wilmington, Delaware to parents Russel and Ruth Bromagem. Alicia and her husband, Ray, owned and operated Photogenic Lounge in Lewisville. She was also a former office manager for Bell Vending, an office manager for Flat Rock, as well as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Medical Records at Beverly Enterprises. Ultimately, Alicia retired as a teller from MainSource Bank in Knightstown in October 2012. Alicia was a proud member of the Eagles 933 Auxiliary in New Castle and American Legion 152 Auxiliary in Knightstown. She also enjoyed golfing, reading, and embroidering, along with cooking for friends and family. Her parents preceded Alicia in death. She is survived by her beloved husband of over fifty years, Ray as well as son, Vaughn. The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Heritage House and the Emergency Department of Henry Community Health for their wonderful, loving care of Alicia. A private service will be held in honor of Alicia. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel.
