Anna L Malson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Anna L. Malson, 61, of New Castle passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at the home of her daughter. She was born August 31, 1959 in New Castle, Indiana, a daughter of the late James C. West & Leona (Voiles) Burton. She had been employed at the Indiana Soldiers & Sailors Home in Knightstown for seven years and was previously employed at New Castle State Hospital and Raintree Programs. Anna had been manager at Village Pantry in New Castle. A professional clown, she owned A & J’s Party Store in New Castle. She was a member of the American Legion, Elks, Eagles & Moose Lodges. She enjoyed crafting, baking with her grandchildren, gardening & flowers, playing BINGO, playing cards, music and dancing. She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, Jessica A. Malson of Rush County, Amanda K. Brinker of New Castle and Elizabeth Shelton of Rush County; 12 grandchildren, Ryanna, Xavier, Marcus, Coltin, Kaytlin, Zoey, Kenzie, Lucas, Alexias, Savannah, Jessica and Ariel; two sisters, Etta Faye (Richard) Wine of Muncie and Patsy Hancock of Indianapolis; two brothers, Raymond (Paula) West of New Castle and Jack West of New Castle; two step sisters, Rosezetta Trice of Cincinnati, Ohio and Pauletta (Steve) Jeffers of Pioneer, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Mark A. Malson on October 13, 2020; two brothers and three sisters. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery, West Lawn Addition. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until time of services Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Anna L.
