Anthony "Tony" B. Fry

Anthony “Tony” B. Fry, 83, of Charlottesville, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021 at his home. He was born June 24, 1937 in Terre Haute the son of Timothy and Josephine (McLaughlin) Fry.
Tony was a 1955 graduate of Cathedral High School and served in the U.S. Army for 3 years. He retired from Navistar (formerly International Harvester). He enjoyed building muzzle loaders, flying ultra light aircraft and spent much time studying history.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie S. (Spivey) Fry of Charlottesville; daughters, Elizabeth, Kathryn and Margaret “Meg” (Larry) Smith of Shirley; two step sons, Brian A. (Ronda) Smith of Charlottesville and Mark J. Smith of Knightstown; grandchildren, Mason Smith, Marlee Smith, Mallie Smith, Andrew Smith and Audrey Smith; sister, Sally (Pete) Stenehjem of Greenfield; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Walter and Tim Fry.
