Billie Jo Drown, 71, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, December 4, 2020 at her residence. Billie Jo was born in Winchester, Indiana on November 6, 1949 to James A. And Winifred R. (Golliher) Dines.
Billie Jo was married to Wayne Drown on May 2, 1998 at their church, The Full Gospel Temple. Billie Jo was a mail carrier for Williamsburg, Indiana for many years and was retired. She loved the color yellow and she had a big heart, never hesitating to help anyone in need as much as she could. Billie Jo loved her church, The Full Gospel Temple in Muncie, Indiana. She was a Sunday school teacher in Noah's Room for many years.
Survivors include her husband Wayne Drown; son, Terry (SO Lori) Dines of Muncie; daughter, Donna Mcfeely of Kentucky; son, Daryl (Krista) Burke of Colorado; son, Kirby Burke Jr. of California; Step-children, Richard (Margaret) Drown; Mike (Cathy) Drown; Greg (Amy) Drown; Brian (Stephanie) Drown; and Chad (fiancée Jennifer) Drown; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; a step great-grandchild; and 3 foster great-grandchildren; siblings, Carolyn Stonebraker of Losantville; Edward (Margie) Dines of Yorktown; David (Sandy) Dines of Parker City; and Christal (Mark) Friend of Muncie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Winifred Dines; sisters, Debbie Kay Dines and Judith Giver; and a brother, James E Dines; Maternal grandparents, Dallas and Clara Golliher; paternal grandparents, Clarence and Stella Dines.
A memorial service for Billie Jo will be held February 20, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Full Gospel Temple 212 w. 7Th St. Muncie, IN 47302 with pastors Denny and John Paul Helton officiating. You may share a condolence or memory of Billie Jo at www.hinsey-brown.com .
