Bradley Wayne Skinner

Bradley Wayne Skinner, 38, of Shirley, passed away on Monday May 31, 2021. He was born on June 18, 1982 in New Castle, to the late Wayne and Glenna (Riggs) Skinner.

Bradley was known to many as the comeback kid, out living his illness for many more years than was expected. He was always smiling and would get excited to go for car rides to see family members. Bradley and his dad enjoyed watching weekend sports together; his favorite team was the Purdue Boilermakers. He also loved to watch the Price is Right.

The Smith family welcomed Bradley to their home on Oct. 1, 2016. On that date he became one of the Smith kids and Bradley gained 9 brothers and sisters, a cat and several dogs. He was sometimes known as “Bratley Wayne Do-Dah Skinner Smith”.

He is survived by his grandmother, Lillie (Skinner) Rankins, along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Bradley’s family would like to thank the beloved Smith family for the many years of care they gave to Bradley.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents Peggy and Glen Riggs and grandfather Rex Skinner.

Services will be at 12:00 pm Friday June 18, 2021 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Reverend Gene Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery.
