Brandon J. Hyatt

Brandon Jasper Hyatt, 22, of Carthage, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021 at IU Health Methodist Hospital following injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born April 19, 1998 in Greenfield the son of Robert and Patricia (Newkirk) Hyatt.

Brandon attended Knightstown High School. He enjoyed playing basketball and video games. He was currently employed at Montana Mikes in Greenfield.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia Hyatt; his father, Robert Hyatt; maternal grandparents, Rose Tanksley and Richard (Barb) Newkirk; aunt, Marsha (Martin) Sneed; uncle, Harry (Karen) Tanksley; cousins, Cindy, Melissa, Jason, Joe, Robert, Michelle, Danny, David, L.J., Autumn, Grace and Joyanna; two half brothers and two half sisters.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents; aunt, Susan Davis.

Services will be at 12:00 PM Friday, January 8, 2021 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Pastor Randy Perry officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service. Due to Covid-19 and the governor’s mandate, face coverings will be required.
