Brian V. Lane

Brian V. Lane, 50, of Knightstown, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021 at his residence. He was born November 23, 1970 in Rushville the son of Joe and Wanda Faye (Phelps) Lane of Knightstown.

A graduate of Knightstown High School, Brian was former manager of Knightstown Street Department and had also worked at Chrysler Corporation for 10 years. He could fix and fabricate anything. Brian had a funny great sense of humor and was always joking. He was kind hearted and would do anything for anybody. He loved his niece and nephew and was very family oriented; enjoying family gatherings especially corn hole games. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, trapping and was a NASCAR fan.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by siblings, Pam (Michael) Jones of Richmond, KY, Tim Lane of Fairland (companion, Britney Contreras), and Cathy (Jeff) Gaddis of Parker City; nieces, Lindsey Greene of Greenfield, Stephenie Greene of Richmond, KY and Kelsie Gaddis of Parker City; great nephew, Evan James; great nieces, Abbigail Hall and Selene Prunty.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Alvin and Elva Lane; maternal grandparents, Virtis and Gertie (Brown) Phelps.

Services will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service. Condolences and memories of Brian may be shared at www.hinsey-brown.com .
