Carlo Hooker

February 9, 1945 - April 1, 2022

Carlo Hooker, 77, of Greenfield, formerly of Knightstown, passed away Friday, April 1, 2022 at Hancock Regional Hospital. He was born February 9, 1945 in Manchester, KY the son of Walton and Mayme (Harris) Hooker. Carlo retired from Ford Motor Company following 37 years of service and then worked at South Bend Medical for 6 years. He was an avid golfer, football fan and enjoyed traveling. Carlo was a beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jeanette (Wilson) Hooker of Greenfield; children, Michael Shane Hooker (Michelle Dahl) and Matthew Shannon Hooker; grandchildren, Marissa Hooker-Peck (Sam Peck), Danielle, Dylan and Dakota Lawson, Abel and Ezra Dahl; great grandchildren, Nash Peck, Alaina Richey, Brantley and Remy Nazzal; siblings, Betty Sue Root, Darlene Oliver, Charlotte Smith and Jon Wallace Hooker; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Cecil, Amoel, Stafford and Earl Hooker, and a sister, Alma Jean Robinson. Services will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Pastor Randy Gross officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery.
