Charlene Johnson, 87, of Port Charlotte, FL, formerly of Wilkinson, passed away January 26, 2018. She was born January 12, 1931 in Greens Fork, IN a daughter of Calloway and Smara (Collins) Isaacs.
Charlene was a homemaker and loved being with her family. She loved to dance with the love of her life. She enjoyed growing huge gardens and doing ceramics. She and her husband owned and operated Johnson’s Pizza in Wilkinson for a short time.
Charlene is survived by her daughters, Janet (Jeff) Linch of Knightstown and Pat Cole of Port Charlotte, FL; grandchildren, Scot (Loretta) Moore of Greenfield, Erich Moore of Knightstown, Justin (Lisa) Linch of McCordsville, Amy Partin of Vermont and Michael Cole of Port Charlotte; great grandchildren, Rylie Partin, Cullen Partin, Hagan Moore, Austin Linch and Brody Linch; sister, Joan McClarnon of Vevay; brother, Bill Isaacs of Champaign, IL; half brothers, Jack Delhagen of Greenfield and Everett Delhagen of Mays; half sisters, Marilyn Sue Runyon of Columbus and Jane Miller of Greenfield; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester F. Johnson; daughter, Monica Johnson; many brothers and sisters.
