Charles A. “Chuck” Teague, 77, of New Castle passed away Monday, May 15, 2017 at his home. He was born September 13, 1939 in New Castle, to the late Curtis and Lillian (Freeman) Teague.
Chuck retired from Chrysler Corp. in 1999 after 30 years of service. He owned and operated Rose City Plumbing for 40 years, formerly worked for Tom Cashdollar and was a Henry County farmer for 15 years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in New Castle, and enjoyed traveling, hunting and remodeling houses. Chuck loved spending time with family especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by three daughters, Brenda (Michael) Cole , Robin Teague both of New Castle, Julie Neal of Mooreland, three sons, Doug (Deborah) Teague of Tennessee, Richard (Pamela) Teague of Illinois, and Scott (Yolanda) Teague of Spiceland, 11 grand children, 7 great-grandchildren, brother, Tony (Sharon) Teague of Kokomo, sister-in-law, Mary Teague of New Castle, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Carol A. (Cashdollar) Teague, brother Ronnie Teague, sister, Joann Grant, nephew, Chris Burger.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 19, 2017 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Rev. Danny Goddard officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 5 – 8 p.m. Thursday, May 18 at the funeral home.
